The terms & conditions are subject to change and apply to all orders carried out by WRANOVSKY. When in doubt, please get in touch with us at info@wranovsky.com.

Products

  1. Please take into consideration that all WRANOVSKY lights are hand-made manufactured, therefore we cannot guarantee an exact match of our lights including the colour of the metal and crystal finishes. The individual shapes, as well as colour shades and intensities can vary slightly and are considered a part of the beauty of handmade manufacturing. Each of our products is an original and is manufactured on order from the beginning.

Customization

  1. WRANOVSKY is an expert in custom and bespoke production. On request, we will design and manufacture customized or fully bespoke lights. These lights will be subject to special pricing and lead times.

  2. In case drawing or renders are requested or required before the production of the lights, WRANOVSKY has the right to charge a design fee which is deductible from the final costs when ordered.

Prices & Packaging

  1. All prices are EX WORKS from our factory in Turnov, Czech Republic. They do not include the costs of VAT, light bulbs, shipping, or any fees export and import fees. All legal taxes and fees must be subsequently added to the price.

  2. Our products are standardly quoted and delivered without light bulbs. On request, we can provide quote for the required light bulbs.

  3. Standard packing is included in the price. In case of request or need for special packaging, the quote will be provided case by case.

  4. Standard length of cable and chain between 30-50 cm is included in price. Special requirements on the length of chain and cable are subject to individual price increase.

Shipping Policy

  1. The prices do not include transportation costs and fees. We provide the clients with the shipping quotes according to their preferred and specified means of transport.

  2. The client is required to fill in a complaint protocol with the shipping company when receiving the goods when there is any doubt about the condition of the shipment. The client is also required to notify WRANOVSKY of any damage that occurred to the shipment. The failure to do so automatically releases WRANOVSKY from any liability for the damage that occurred during the transport.

  3. When the shipping is handled by the client, WRANOVSKY does not bear any responsibility for the safety of the transported goods.

Lead Times

  1. Depending on the desired products, the lead times range anywhere from 2-8 weeks for products in the price list. Please contact WRANOVSKY to find out the lead time for your specific order.

  2. Lead times for customized and bespoke products are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  3. Shipping duration is not included in the lead time.

Stock

  1. We keep a small stock of products available for immediate shipment. In case of interest, email us at info@wranovsky.com to receive a list of all stock products.

Payment

  1. The only accepted means of payment is standard bank transfer.

  2. 60% of the total product value is required before the start of the production.

  3. The production begins only after the required amount is received to the WRANOVSKY bank account and the day of receiving the amount is the first day of the lead time.

  4. When the products are manufactured, WRANOVSKY reserves the right to ask for all remaining payments for the order including the remaining product and shipping costs as well as any applicable fees.

  5. The products are shipped to the client only after all issued invoices were settled and all payments were received to the WRANOVSKY bank account.

Warranty

  1. WRANOVSKY offers a standard two-year warranty for all its products by law.

Certifications

  1. All WRANOVSKY products hold a valid CB certificate, which is the the most widespread global certification system in the field of electrical products. Visit https://ezu.cz/en/catalog/cb-certificate/ to learn more about the CB certification.

  2. All WRANOVSKY products hold a valid Russian GOST certificate.

  3. Additional requested certifications for our products (such as certificate of originality) can be provided on request for a fee.

CLEAN & CARE

We recommend that you clean crystal chandeliers with distilled water or use specialized cleaners that do not damage the cut surface of the crystal and are also gentle on the surface finish of the metal parts. Avoid the use of conventional glass cleaners because they usually damage the surface finish of the metal parts, which then lose their gloss, and in some cases the colour as well. We recommend the use of a cleaning agent developed by us to clean the crystal chandeliers. This product is delivered in a spray that allows easy cleaning without removing parts and minimizes the need for manual chandelier handling and therefore the risk of mechanical damage. Just spray this cleaner and allow it to dry or dry it with a hair dryer or other air stream.

In regards to our decorative glass art, it is usually very richly decorated, especially with gold and silver. Therefore, care should be taken when cleaning them. Do not wash the glass in an automatic dishwasher, nor do we recommend using aggressive cleaning agents (such as sand) or too thick dishwashing sponges.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do you produce or sell the products that you offer?

We are the manufacturer of all offered WRANOVSKY products: crystal chandeliers, lights, wall lights, floor lamps, as well as glass art items.

2. Is it possible to apply for a VAT deduction with your products?

Yes, we are VAT payers, so if you buy something from us and you are a VAT payer yourself, you can deduct this.

3. When I order a crystal chandelier, how long will it take for it to be delivered? And how is the transport handled to prevent damage?

The delivery time depends on the quantity and type of chandeliers ordered as well as on the mode of transport. In general, the average production time is 3 weeks. Individual parts of the chandelier are packed in the box so that they are not damaged during transport. The packaging and boxes are chosen to be safe and to suit all types of transport.

4. Do you also deliver to other countries outside the Czech Republic?

Our company exports lights worldwide.

5. Is it possible to ask for product modifications? For example, if I wanted a different colour?

The customer can choose both small and larger modifications of the standard products (colour, design, shape, size). Our lights are designed and manufactured according to individual ideas and requirements of the client.

6. Do your chandeliers and lights come with or without bulbs?

On customer's request we can supply bulbs but they are standardly not part of the delivery or the price offer.

7. I would like to learn more about the history of Czech glassmaking. Are you really engaged in traditional production?

Czech glassmaking has a truly rich and long-lasting tradition, especially in our region. Today, Czech glassmaking and crystal glass production are globally recognized and sought after for their unique quality and almost unlimited design possibilities. Our production methods have been proven by centuries and adapted to modern requirements.

8. What is the guarantee of your products? Is it different for luminaires and decorative glass?

We provide a standard statutory two-year warranty period, which of course applies only to manufacturing defects, i.e. not damage caused by improper handling. The warranty card, enclosed with each chandelier and other products, contains instructions for proper wiring and maintenance, both of which must be strictly followed. We recommend that the crystal chandeliers be connected by an expert electrician.

11. We have low ceilings. What type of luminaire would you recommend?

For central ceiling lighting, we recommend the type of flush-mounted chandeliers, which are very suitable for low ceilings. If you are not interested in this type, we offer customization of the chain length and suitable adjustment of the height of the other chandeliers.

12. I have my own particular idea of a chandelier, but I haven't found it on your site. Can you make a chandelier by photo or drawing?

Yes, we can produce almost any luminaire. If you send us a drawing or a photo or if you tell us your ideas in a different way, we will propose a price to you and we will produce the chandelier by mutual agreement.

13. Where can I see your chandeliers in person?

We will be happy to welcome you in our showroom in Turnov (about 80 km north of Prague). You can see chandeliers, decorative glass and other goods from our production in our partners' stores. You will find the addresses on our website in the Contact page.

14. I prefer personal collection over other modes of transport. Do you offer such a possibility, and if so, where can I pick up the goods?

You can pick up the purchased goods by prior arrangement in our factory in person.

15. I was intrigued by your offer, but I'm not sure what type of lighting would fit in my interior. Can you help me?

Yes, we will be happy to advise you. Usually a personal meeting or detailed space information (ideally with photographs) is required.

16. I have no good imagination and I am afraid that the selected chandelier will not look like I had imagined it in my interior. Do you offer visualization?

Yes, we offer this service for a fee. After the selection of a particular chandelier we will communicate a quotation to you which is deductible in case of the purchase.

17. If I am not satisfied with the goods, can I return it?

All our products are made-to-order so we cannot accept returns. In order to handle your case individually, please contact us at info@wranovsky.com.

18. Do you also sell separate spare parts?

We sell spare parts separately for all our chandeliers. After we receive the information on the dimensions and type of arms or crystal trimmings (preferably with a photo), including the colour of connecting metal parts, you will be offered the price of spare parts.

19. Do you focus solely on original production or do you offer renovations of old and antique luminaires?

We offer partial or full renovation of old and antique chandeliers and other luminaires, especially the renovation of metal parts, replacement of trimmings or glass parts and even complete replacement of the electric system.

20. Do you also offer installation of the lights you purchased?

Yes, after specifying and discussing the conditions, we offer complete on-site assembly, not only in the Czech Republic, but all around the world.

21. How long is the delivery time?

The normal delivery time varies from a week to a month, depending on the type of luminaire selected. For a special range and custom production, the delivery time is communicated individually.

22. Is it possible to choose the type of shades for crystal chandeliers with lampshades?

Yes, all our lampshades are customizable in their shape, size and colour.

23. Is the indicated height of the chandeliers measured with the chain?

No, the indicated height is the height of just the chandelier - without the chain.

24. Can the ceiling chain be of different lengths?

Yes, it is possible to produce a longer chain as requested for a fee.

25. What is the difference between glass and crystal?

There is such a difference between crystal and glass that changes according to the legislation adopted (relating to the breakdown of glass and crystal in each category). For most of the world, crystal means the presence of lead. Under European Community rules, glassware containing less than 4% lead oxide is defined as "glass", glassware with a lead content of more than 10% is "crystal" and glass with a lead content of more than 30% is labelled "high leaded" On the other hand, 1% of lead in the US and glass is classified as crystal. In other countries it is a question of the meaning of words, and the term crystal can be used for any refined, high-quality clear glass. Lead's presence softens glass and makes it more accessible for grinding and engraving. Lead adds weight to the glass and causes the glass to refract light so it shatters beams through the glass to iridescent colours.
